For those who were unable to attend the presentation by Tom Kersting on November 29 the presentation was recorded and is viewable here.  Tom is the author of ‘Disconnected: How to Protect your Kids from the Harmful Effects of Device Dependency’.  Tom provided parents with some insight into the cyber world of our students and gave parents some strategies to have conversations and monitor their children’s on-line behavior.   We encourage parents to engage with their children around what is on their cell phones, such as photos, web sites visited, text messages, group chats, and social media posts.
