Important Dates 

Online Parent Teacher Interviews: March 20 (evening), and March 21 (daytime – no classes for students) 

Spring Break: March 24 - 28              

 

Parent Teacher Conferences 

We will be hosting Parent Teacher Conferences on Thursday, March 20 from 5pm-8pm and Friday, March 21 from 9am-2pm.  All Conferences will be online and parents can begin booking conferences through their MyCBE/PowerSchool Account, under the ‘Book and Manage Meeting Times’ tab.  Booking will open on Friday, March 14 at 7am.  A Teams link for the on-line meetings will be sent in your confirmation e-mail. Parents are able to book a 10-minute appointment with each one of their child’s teachers.  If you have trouble booking conferences, please contact the main office so that they can assist you.

Grad 2025 Info 

  • The Graduation Ceremony is Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at 10:30 am at The Jubilee 
  • The Grad fee associated with the ceremony has been posted to Gr 12 PowerSchool accounts 
  • The Ticketmaster reservation system will be open to reserve guest seats on April 7 
  • All outstanding student fees must be paid by March 31 to have access to Ticketmaster 
  • Any fees paid after March 31 will experience a 1-2 week delay from date of payment in accessing Ticketmaster  
  • Fees are added throughout the year, please check your PowerSchool account to ensure there are no outstanding fees 
  • Contact the Business Office  jemorris@cbe.ab.ca for questions regarding your account

Grade 9 Parent Volunteers Needed 

We are in need of nine Grade 9 parent volunteers for a Humanities field trip to Theatre Calgary on April 2.   If you have current police clearance with CBE and would like to help out, please ask your child's Humanities teacher for a volunteer form, and return it as soon as possible.  Thanks very much for your help; it's volunteers that make all of our great field trips possible!

The Climate Action Magazine is a QEHS student-led initiative dedicated to raising awareness about sustainability, environmental issues, and eco-friendly practices. We publish articles, artwork, photography, and research to inspire action and engage our school community in meaningful conversations about climate change.
