Transportation 2025-26
As we begin preparations for the 2025–26 school year, we want to remind families with bus eligible students in Junior High, including the GATE and DHH programs, to complete transportation registration before the Calgary Board of Education’s June 22 deadline.
Timely registration ensures that appropriate transportation arrangements can be made for the start of the school year.
High school students, in all programs, may apply as conditional riders should there be a bus/ space available. Otherwise, high school students are expected to use Calgary Transit. Conditional rider forms will be available on the CBE’s website starting June 23. All decisions regarding conditional riders will not be made until mid to late September. Please plan accordingly.
For full details about eligibility, service levels, and to complete your registration, please visit the CBE transportation page here:

Junior High Track Meet
Congratulations to QE’s junior high track team that competed on Thursday June 5. Close to 120 students took part (including our DHH team who competed in the adapted portion of the meet) from our school and represented Queen Elizabeth very well with many students winning their events. The QE junior high track team has historically done very well at these meets and once again, this meet was no exception as the team won the following categories:
Intermediate Girls (Grade 8)
Intermediate Boys (Grade 8)
Senior Girls (Grade 9)
Intermediate Aggregate (Grade 8 Boys/Girls)
Senior Aggregate (Grade 9 Boys/Girls)
Boys Aggregate (7, 8, 9)
Girls Aggregate (7, 8, 9)
Grand Aggregate (Top Points overall)
*Grand Aggregate goes to the school who scored the most points combined from every category.*
