Gift Card Blitz

This year we will be doing a Gift Card Blitz to help families in our school community over the winter break. We support families to meet their basic needs but also with small treats to make the holiday special.

Gift cards allow families to purchase the items, brands, and sizes that they need most.  We appreciate any and all gift cards but are particularly looking for grocery store, toy store, coffee and restaurant cards, gas cards, and everything stores like Walmart and Superstore.

Donations will be accepted up to Monday, Dec. 16 – a drop off box is located at the front office and students or parents are welcome to drop off gift cards at any time.

Winter Showcase

Families are invited to visit the school on Thursday, December 12 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. for the third annual Winter Showcase, celebrating the achievements of students in our Fine Arts and Career & Technology Studies programs. Displays, performances, and the chance to see your child and their peers’ creative work (and maybe even eat it) are what this evening is all about.

Notes from the Cafeteria

Join us at our Christmas Showcase, this Thursday December 12 from 5:30-7:30pm. Where creativity and flavor come to life in a delicious display of student talent! This event features a selection of cookies, pies, bread and tarts, showcasing the art of baking with every bite. From buttery shortbreads to decadent fruit-filled pies, there’s something to satisfy every sweet tooth.

In addition to these tempting desserts, indulge in our carefully crafted soups and sauces, each bursting with rich flavors and made with the finest ingredients. Whether you're craving a comforting bowl of soup or a savory sauce to elevate your meal, our students have poured their skills into perfecting each dish.

Come enjoy this celebration of culinary craftsmanship, where you can taste the passion and creativity of tomorrow's chefs. Don't miss the opportunity to sample these delectable treats and experience the future of food firsthand!

Also, a friendly reminder that our cafe will close Friday, December 20 and for the month of January due to exams and our first Culinary field trip after the break. Please plan lunches accordingly.
