QEHS Bike-a-Thon 2025 – Riding for Youth Mental Health!
Queen Elizabeth High School’s Bike-A-Thon is back! On May 21, students will bike for 12 hours to raise funds for the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation and support The Summit: Marian & Jim Sinneave Centre for Youth Resilience, a mental health facility for youth in crisis.
By joining the Kids Helping Kids program, we aim to provide therapeutic programs, culturally informed supports, and safe spaces for youth. Your support—whether through donations, sharing, or cheering—can make a difference.

Let’s ride for change and support youth mental health!
High School Art Exhibit
Queen Elizabeth High School students will be having an exhibit at The New Gallery as part of a multi-grade level project, completed with several other schools in the city. The exhibit will take place on Friday, May 9, from 6:30-9:30 pm. Come see their fantastic work! The New Gallery – 208 Centre Street S.
Art Room Request
Art students will be learning about different types of Printmaking this term, and we would like to ask for donations of LARGE Tetrapak containers. Any large Tetrapak juice containers, such as coconut waters, almond milk, milk alternatives, juice, egg whites, broth, AND even those flat palettes that we get smoked salmon on are where the gold is underneath. It would be great if they could be cleaned before dropping off.
