Dear QEHS Parents and Guardians,

We had a fantastic school start up. The highlight of the week for me was welcoming so many new Knights in grade seven (our class of 2031) and meeting this year’s graduating class of 2026!

I also enjoyed a chance to see each grade group in our assemblies that we held today.  The purpose of the assembly was to welcome students, build school culture, and review our roles in creating a welcoming, caring, respectful and safe learning environment.  We shared how and where students can access support for their learning and well-being.  We also encouraged everyone to get involved in our community through clubs, teams and extra-curricular activities. We all have a part to play in creating the learning environment that allows each and every student to thrive.   As such, all students reviewed our personal mobile device policy, digital citizenship policy and student code of conduct.

Below are some important Knights’ Notes for the week ahead.

Have a safe and relaxing weekend.

Sincerely,

Jennifer Edmondson-Neily
Principal
