Dear QEHS Parents and Guardians,
The season of giving is upon us, and I wish to highlight two optional opportunities for QEHS to support those in need in our community. Firstly, our Knight’s Helping Hand Fund, available through the Education Matters website, accepts online donations to support students who need help with basic needs such as clothing and food. Be sure to scroll down to access the Knights’ Helping Hands fund. Any money donated between now and Monday, December 15 will go to purchasing grocery gift cards for QEHS families in need. Alternatively, students can drop off a gift card, of any amount, by Monday, December 15 at the main office. Student Services and the QEHS leadership team will identify families in need and be sure that families receive gift cards before winter break. Thank you!
I look forward to seeing you all next week at our Parent/Teacher/Student conferences. Reminder to sign up to meet with your child’s teachers in your MyCBE account starting today. We know there were a couple of glitches this morning with booking. Thank you for your patience. Please try again now. Also, a reminder that all meetings on Thursday, November 27 will all be in-person and Friday, November 28 will be online. You may receive a link for Thursday, please ignore the link and come in person. If you do not receive a link for Friday, please email the main office at queenelizabethjrsr@cbe.ab.ca and we will be sure to get you the link.
As always, we are busy and have lots of important updates to share. Please read below! Have a great weekend.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Edmondson-Neily
Principal
