Dear QEHS Parents and Guardians, 

This week is teacher appreciation week.  I am so proud to lead and collaborate with such an exceptional group of educators at QEHS.  If you have a minute over the weekend, take some time to send a gratitude email to a teacher that is making a difference in your child’s life.   

Our Bike-a-Thon was a huge success with students and staff biking for 12 hours to raise $10,237 for The Summit: Marian & Jim Sinneave Centre for Youth Resilience through the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation’s Kids Helping Kids campaign.  Thank you and congratulations to student leader Natania V. for planning such a successful event and thank you to all the students and staff who participated.  Go Knights!

The cafeteria will be closed for the entire month of June.  Please make other arrangements for lunches and snacks. 

QEHS Band Fundraiser and Meeting  

Last chance to order- due date Monday, May 11. 

If you love coffee (or tea) and our Queen Elizabeth High School Band program - this is your chance to show your support and get some great beverages! They offer regular, decaf and espresso beans, as well as a variety of teas, including Early Grey and Arabian Mint.  Click the link to order. In the checkout process, please indicate you are fundraising with "Queen Elizabeth".  We are expecting buyers to pick up their order in May at the school but will be sure to let you know! Some of the coffee bags will have our QEHS band program logo on them, so they'd make great gifts or mementos. Rebel Bean is a small batch coffee roaster located in Okotoks, Alberta.
